About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and guest-focused Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing, presenting, and maintaining the hotel’s complimentary breakfast in accordance with Choice Hotels brand standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and delivering a positive guest experience each morning.
Responsibilities
Set up and break down the breakfast area according to brand standards and daily service schedule
Prepare and replenish food and beverage items (hot and cold) throughout service hours
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked breakfast area at all times
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and assist with any requests
Monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs to management
Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance issues
Properly store food items and manage waste according to hotel procedures
Complete daily cleaning checklists and closing duties
Qualifications/ Requirements
Previous hospitality or food service experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Basic understanding of food safety practices
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25–30 pounds
Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout shift
