
About the Role
Job Summary:
The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the hotel during the overnight shift. This role includes managing front desk responsibilities, performing financial reconciliations, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The Night Auditor will also handle any issues that arise during the night, ensuring a smooth operation for both guests and staff.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nightly financial audits and reconciliations, including balancing accounts and preparing financial reports.
Check guests in and out of the hotel in a friendly and efficient manner.
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Monitor security and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Perform light housekeeping duties as required.
Document any incidents or unusual occurrences during the shift.
Qualifications/ Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or business is a plus.
Previous experience in hotel operations or front desk roles preferred.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
